Chris Brown

Breezy is back. Chris Brown was released from a Los Angeles County jail early Monday morning after serving 108 days.

According to The Associated Press, the “Loyal” singer traded in his orange jumpsuit at 12:01 a.m. Monday.

The 25-year-old had been in custody since mid-March after being kicked out of a Malibu rehab facility. In April, a judge ordered him to remain in jail after he admitted to violating his probation in the Rihanna assault case by getting into an altercation outside a hotel in Washington, D.C.

He had been sentenced to a year in jail, but the judge gave him credit for 116 days including time spent in rehab and good behavior. On May 9, he was ordered to serve 131 days behind bars, but he was expected to be released sooner due to overcrowding.

Upon his release, he returned to Twitter. “Humbled and Blessed,” tweeted Brown. “Back to the Music and the Fans. Thank you GOD.”

His friends including Sean Kingston welcomed him home. “They can’t keep a great man down forever!!!!” said Kingston. “U are a blessing to the world my brother!!!”

Next up, Brown faces a misdemeanor assault charge for punching a man in D.C. A hearing is set for June 25.
