Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, & Jennifer Hudson to Play The Roots' 4th of July Jam

Nicki Minaj will celebrate Independence Day in the City of Brotherly Love. The rap diva will perform at The Roots’ 4th of July Jam.

Following her appearances at L.A.’s PowerHouse on May 17 and New York’s Summer Jam on June 1, Nicki will bring some fireworks to Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.

Jennifer Hudson, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, and Aloe Blacc will also jam with Questlove and the legendary Roots crew at the fourth annual free concert, which will include a fireworks display over the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

If you’re unable to partake in the block party, the 4th of July Jam will air live on VH1 and Palladia at 8 p.m. EST and stream on PhillyJam.VH1.com.

Nicki is gearing up to release her third album The Pink Print, while The Roots will drop their new album …and then you shoot your cousin on May 19.
