Pharrell

Pharrell spreads 24 hours of sunshine with the video for “Happy,” a song off the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack. Billed as “the world’s first 24-hour music video,” the lengthy clip follows Pharrell and friends around for 24 hours straight—from sunrise to sundown. He dances in alleyways, the grocery store, and a church in scenes shot across various locations in L.A.

Odd Future, Leah LaBelle, Jimmy Kimmel, Magic Johnson, Steve Carrell, Jamie Foxx, and even the Minions make cameos.

The music video will be featured on the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray release of Despicable Me 2 on December 10.

UPDATE: If you don’t have 24 hours to kill, you can now watch the condensed four-minute video below.
