A blast from the past. Bruno Mars works up a sweat in the ’70s-inspired video for “Locked Out of Heaven,” the first single from his sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox, due December 11.
Shot in a vintage style, the clip shows what Bruno’s life might be like as a soul singer from the past and revolves around him performing at a club. There are other scenes of him hanging out with his Hooligans and addressing reporters.
The Hawaiian crooner decided to give the Cameron Duddy-directed clip to his fans first instead of holding out for a television premiere. “Everyones telling me to wait for a big primetime premiere on TV but you know what i says to em? I says NO! My fans desoyve to see it foist!” he tweeted.
Bruno will host and perform “Locked Out of Heaven” on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.
