Talk about life imitating rap. Gunplay unleashes a new song “Rap Sheet” boasting about his criminal ways (“Your rap sheet ain’t longer than your gun. Check mine!”) just as news breaks that he is turning himself into authorities on outstanding charges.
Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club” shared the ironic news this morning that the Maybach Music Group rapper will be surrendering to law enforcement officials for outstanding warrants against him for armed robbery and assault charges. He reportedly doesn’t know what the punishment for his offenses will be or how long he may be incarcerated.
Late last month, he made headlines for fighting with 50 Cent and his G-Unit crew at the BET Hip Hop Awards. He threatened more violence, telling TMZ, “You might get gunned down, you never know!”
