Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys touched down in London town for a performance at the iTunes Festival on Friday. The 31-year-old singer kicked off the 15-song set with the bombastic “New Day” before reviving her classics like “Fallin'” and “You Don’t Know My Name.” She soared through her latest single “Girl on Fire” and introduced “Brand New Me,” a personal record that she co-wrote with Scottish singer Emeli Sandé.

“That was my declaration and this one’s my autobiography,” said Alicia as she sat at the piano (46:47 mark). “I love this song. This song is so, so, so important to me and I’m very excited to sing it for ya’ll.”

The piano-driven ballad will appear on her upcoming album Girl on Fire, due November 27. “I thought that you’d be happy/ I found the one thing I need/ Why you mad, it’s just a brand new kinda me,” she sings.

During the encore, she performed another Girl on Fire cut “Not Even the King” and “If I Ain’t Got You.”
