J. Cole Announces College Campus Tour

  /  02.21.2012

J. Cole is bringing his show to a college campus near you. The Roc Nation rapper will headline the “Campus Consciousness Spring 2012 / The Sideline Story Tour” beginning in April.

The 17-date U.S. trek kicks off April 11 in Kensington, Rhode Island, with special guest Big K.R.I.T. Cole has partnered with REVERB, which aims to educate and mobilize students to take positive action for the planet.

Fresh off his 75-plus date world tour last year, the “Work Out” MC is excited to hit the road again in support of his debut Cole World: The Sideline Story.

“My music gives me a platform to reach a lot of young people,” stated Cole, who recently shot a video for his Missy Elliott collaboration “Nobody’s Perfect.” “I’m happy to be partnering with REVERB to engage my fans and hope they’ll get on board with these positive environmental messages.”

REVERB will organize daytime activities for students prior to the concert, which will include voter registration, plastic free initiatives, and live music.
