M.I.A. is known for her outrageous fashion and she’s switching up her look once again. The former brunette tweeted a photo of herself with bleached blonde locks. The “XXXO” singer’s inspiration appears to come from the children of the Solomon Islands after she posted a photo of one youngster.

Ameriie previously rocked a similar look inspired by the island people. “One of the things that inspired me are photos I’ve seen of children in the Solomon Islands,” the “1 Thing” hitmaker told staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud. “They are very brown-skinned, and a lot of them grow white-blonde hair naturally. The contrast in dark skin tone and extremely light hair is really beautiful to me.”
