M.I.A. goes to infinity and beyond on a new song titled “Space Odyssey.” The “Paper Planes” singer is working on the follow-up to her 2007 album Kala, due this summer.

“My lines are down, you can’t call me,” she sings on the staticy production, which sounds conceptually like another track she described, “I’m Down Like Your Internet Connection.” The latter is said to feature Filipino Verizon workers singing the hook.
