Mariah Carey and Eminem

Mariah Carey has four sugar-coated words for Eminem.

A TMZ paparazzo caught up with Mariah in London and questioned her, “Sorry to ask, but what do you think about all this stuff Eminem’s saying?” Mariah’s bodyguard tried to preempt his client from answering, but she did so anyway, simply replying, “I don’t eat candy.”

Slim Shady called Nick Cannon’s wife a “c*nt” and a “f***in’ whore” on “Bagpipes from Baghdad,” a song off his latest release Relapse.

Nick threatened repercussions against Eminem after the nasty remarks. Even Busta Rhymes rushed to Mariah’s defense, telling Em, “Leave Mariah Carey alone.”

Eminem responded to Nick’s blog rant in an interview with BBC Radio. “There’s a line on there that was a little harsh. It’s a harsh line… But it’s like this, the way I look at it. I had no idea he was going to take it like he took it. I had no idea Nick Cannon was going to start wildin’ out on me,” he explained.

The sarcastic rapper said he only meant to wish the couple the best. “He’s supposed to defend his wife, and I expected him to do that. But at the end of the day, it’s a line I said. It’s a song. What I actually meant to say is, I wish them the best. That’s what I meant to say. That’s the whole message of the record.”
