T.I. testified Friday in a murder case in Cincinnati involving the death of his best friend and assistant Philant Johnson.
The ATL rapper took the witness stand in the trial of Hosea Thomas, 35, who is accused of killing Johnson during a gun battle on Ohio’s Interstate 75.
T.I. believes the bullets fired at his crew during a vehicle chase in May 2006 were intended for him. Three others were injured. T.I. wasn’t hurt.
“[He] was my oldest living friend. We knew each other since 2 years old,” said T.I., who spoke for around 40 minutes.
