Solange Breaks Foot on Tour; 'I Decided' Video Premieres Today
Solange Knowles broke her foot on June 1st while on the “Art of Love” tour in Kansas City, MO. As Solange entered the stage, a large piece of metal fell from the doorway and onto her foot, breaking it. Solange continued to head out to the stage and performed her full set while in extreme pain. Immediately following her performance, she was taken to the hospital where she learned her foot was indeed broken. Solange will continue on with the remainder of the tour while in a cast. Per the doctor’s instructions and because of the immense pain she is experiencing, Solange will perform her set while sitting on a stool.
The Melina-directed video for Solange’s first single, “I Decided,” will premiere today on BET’s “Access Granted” at 8:30 p.m. and via online all day June 5th at Yahoo.com. Solange will also appear on MTV’s “TRL” and BET’s “106 & Park” the week of June 9th to personally introduce her video.
