The kids are about to eat. According to Mike Dean, AstroWorld is dropping this week.

During an Instagram Live session, the producer was asked about Travis Scott’s highly-anticipated third album. A fan later uploaded the clip to Twitter, writing, “@therealmikedean said it. August 3rd, we’re all going to be shitting our pants.”

Dean acknowledged the date by retweeting the account, while Scott’s manager David Stromberg also liked a photo from an Instagram fan account that mentioned the Aug. 3 release date.

While there has been no confirmation from Travis himself, the Houston rapper has been in Hawaii putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to 2016’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. He was seen in the studio with collaborators including NAV, Gunna, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Allen Ritter, Amir “Cash” Esmailian, Frank Dukes, Sonny Digital, WondaGurl, and Wheezy.

On Friday (July 27), a massive inflatable gold replica of Travis Scott’s head appeared on the roof of L.A.’s Amoeba Records, adding to the speculation that AstroWorld may be around the corner.

“It might be the best music that I made,” Travis told British GQ Style last year. “They tore down AstroWorld [an amusement park] to build more apartment space [in 2005]. That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.”

AstroWorld marks the follow-up to Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in Sept. 2016.
