Sremm and La Flame stay on the incline. After dropping their Travis Scott-assisted banger “CLOSE” earlier this month, Rae Sremmurd releases the eery video.
Directed by Mike Piscitelli, the haunting clip is actually a mini horror movie. The guys are all seduced by a beautiful woman, who turns out to be a zombie in disguise. One by one, each MC becomes a member of the walking dead community.
“Travis Scott did his thing for sure, man,” Jxmmi told Beats 1 of their collaboration. “Swae Lee came through with the crazy melodies, then I came through with the crazy verse. ‘CLOSE’ is one of those songs, gave me like an ’80s vibe.”
“CLOSE” is set to appear on Rae Sremmurd’s triple album SremmLife 3, which will include Swae Lee’s Swaecation, Slim Jxmmi’s Jixmtroduction, and Rae Sremmurd’s SR3MM.
The new track follows a slew of singles from the project, including “Guatemala,” “Hurt to Look,” “Brxnks Truck,” the Juicy J-assisted “Powerglide,” and “Chanel” featuring Pharrell Williams.
