Dave East is kicking off the year with P2, the star-studded sequel to last year’s Paranoia: A True Story.

The 15-track mixtape boasts a guest list that includes Tory Lanez (“Woke Up”), T.I. (“Annoying”), Lloyd Banks (“Violent”), and Marsha Ambrosius (“Grateful”), among others. It also features instrumentals from the likes of Street Symphony, Joe Joe Beats, Rico Suave, Cardiak, and Illmind.

East launches the effort with “Talk to Big,” a tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. “I guess poverty changed me,” he raps on the Biggie-inspired cut. “I was a decent kid / My most recent bid, I had a dream I could speak to Big.”

Over haunting piano keys, the Harlem rapper rounds out the set with a “Grateful” spirit. “Thank you, Lord, I’m grateful, Lord,” he rhymes on the outro. “If I got it, I blame you, Lord / My life, it been dangerous, Lord / My faith in you could change it, Lord.”

East, who is still prepping his long-awaited debut album, is set to celebrate P2 with the “Paranoia 2 Tour,” which kicks off today (Jan. 16) in New York. The trek is set to continue through Feb. 3 in Seattle.
