New Music: Yo Gotti, Fabolous, & DJ Khaled - '3 Kings'
DJ Khaled, Fabolous, and Yo Gotti usher in the holidays with “3 Kings” off Roc Nation’s new A Very ROC Christmas compilation album.
Khaled handles the song’s ad-libs while Gotti and Fablo Freshcobar go back and forth with hood rhymes about the most wonderful time of the year.
“I’m wrapping gifts like it’s Christmas,” raps Gotti. “Every hood hoping Mr. Santa don’t miss us / White Lambo with the bow on it / Trap house with the mistletoe on it / This s’posed to be the good days / Until the Grinch comes and takes the toys away.”
Following the theme, Loso delivers street bars with Christmas references. “She gave it to me like the box was a gift,” he raps. “I’m from where the toys on the list is a Glock or a fifth / If you try to light a tree, I know the block with the piff / Rudolph want a red nose, I know the block with the sniff.”
