Snoh Aalegra delivers all the FEELS with her full-length debut.

The Swedish-born songstress, who is now based out of Los Angeles, crafts a soulful collection of music, with her potent vocals over vintage vibes with modern twists.

Executive produced by her mentor No I.D., the 13-track project features Vince Staples (“Nothing Burns Like the Cold”) and Logic (“Sometimes”), plus appearances from Vic Mensa and Timbuktu.

“I honestly wasn’t trying to do anything but to feel the music I was making,” Snoh told PressPlay OK. “I’ve never been the artist to listen to what’s hot on radio and try to emulate that sound. I’ve always been making music from the heart, and my heart definitely belongs to soul music.”

Beyond that, Snoh pulls inspiration from a bevy of influences, ranging from various genres. “I grew up obsessing over Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Prince, Shirley Bassey, Aretha Franklin, Lauryn Hill etc.,” she added. “What inspires me the most is the music made in ’70-80s and early ’90s, in all genres really. Those eras were pure magic to me.”

Right now, Aalegra is on tour with Daniel Caesar. The trek is set to continue through Dec. 19 in Toronto.
