Drake Mourns OVO Affiliate Fif's Death

Drake is mourning the death of OVO Sound affiliate Fif.

The 6 God took to Instagram to pay his respects to his late friend. “RIP to one of our family members…our brother,” wrote Drizzy. “I still can’t even believe this morning was real. It was a honor to have shared years together and I will always keep your memory alive 😔Forever Fif.”

The circumstances surrounding Fif’s passing remain unclear, but reports indicate that he may have been the victim of a shooting in Scarborough, Toronto on Thursday (Sept. 14).

Drake has referenced his late friend in the past. On More Life’s “No Long Talk,” for instance, he mentions Fif by name. “Just know man like Fif, he’s a sickaz,” he raps. “You get tanned, he don’t miss tings.”
