Video: Kodak Black - 'Transportin''

  /  08.19.2017

Hot off the release of Project Baby 2, Kodak Black reps Florida in the video for “Transportin’.”

The bright visual, co-directed by Kodak, kicks off inside of Project Baby’s orange and green bedroom, which has a Florida Gators theme. Rocking a Gators jacket, the Pompano Beach rapper counts his money, plays on his iPad, and answers text messages, before heading outside.

From there, Lil Kodak goes to his driveway, where he rhymes in front of his orange foreign whips, while sporting a “Sniper Gang” bulletproof vest. In between scenes, he’s found in the studio, dancing along to his smash, and in the backyard, riding his dirt bike.

“It’s a Kodak moment, yeah,” he raps. “Bought it ’cause I want it, yeah / I be on the corner, yeah / Fuck the law enforcement man / Project Baby got no stroller but I keep pushing.”

“Transportin’,” which appears on Project Baby 2, samples Isaac Hayes’ “Hung Up On My Baby,” which was also famously sampled by the Geto Boys on “Mind Playing Tricks on Me.”
