Macklemore Announces 'Gemini Tour'

  /  08.09.2017

Macklemore is hitting the road this fall.

In anticipation of his sophomore album, the Seattle rapper has announced the “Gemini Tour,” which is set to kick off Oct. 6 in Portland. The 19-date trek will continue across North America, hitting cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia, finalizing the run in Boston on Nov. 14.

Along with the announcement, Macklemore shared a comedic video, which finds him trying to hit a bullseye to determine whether he will go on tour. “If I miss it, I will stay home, get into progressive drums-n-bass and pierce my penis,” he said. Despite several misses, he promised to go on tour anyway.

Mack, who hasn’t announced a special guest for the run thus far, has been releasing singles from his upcoming sophomore album, including “Glorious” with Skylar Grey and the Lil Yachty-assisted “Marmalade.”

In 2012, the Seattle rapper broke out with The Heist, an ultra-popular joint project with Ryan Lewis. After dropping 2015’s This Unruly Mess I’ve Made together, the frequent collaborators decided to amicably part ways.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday (Aug. 11).
