Shortly after teaming up with Chris Brown on “Perfect,” Dave East unveils the cover art for his upcoming project Paranoia: A True Story, which is set to drop Aug. 18.
The artwork finds the Def Jam/Mass Appeal MC in deep contemplation, looking to his left with his right hand on his waist and his left hand by his mouth. He is seated on a leather couch with a blue paisley bandana by his side.
Taking to Instagram, East shared the grainy photo with the caption: “OFFICIAL COVER PARANOIA AUG 18TH FREAKY FOREVER MUGGA WORLD.”
Paranoia, East’s first project since last year’s Kairi Chanel, has already spawned the lead single “Perfect” featuring Chris Brown. The Harlem rapper also recently hit the lab with Monica to record a new song, which could land on Paranoia.
For months, East has been teasing the effort with a slew of remixes, including “Mask Off,” “Unforgettable,” “Free Smoke,” and “Party Monster.”
