Miguel takes on SZA.

Shortly after teaming up with RL Grime and Dua Lipa, Miguel unleashes an a cappella rendition of SZA’s rising Ctrl single, “The Weekend.”

Pacing around an art gallery, the R&B crooner belted out the Solana smash, while changing some of its lyrics. “Fuck w me,” he wrote. “Last weeks most requested song off @sza new album #CTRL, ‘weekend.’ Foxy-ass song, definitely a favorite of mine on the album.”

Fans should expect more covers soon. “What Isley Brothers song should I cover next week?” he asked. “This shit is fun. Peep the shirt too. Got a lot of heat coming.”

Prior to this, Miguel also covered André 3000’s “Pink & Blue” off OutKast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below and Charlie Puth’s “Attention.”

Miguel is just the latest artist to be inspired by “The Weekend,” which was also remixed by K Camp last month.

Miguel is performing at Drai’s Rooftop Nightclub in Las Vegas on Aug. 19. After that, he will head to Brazil for Rock in Rio 2017 and then New Orleans for the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience.
