New Music: DJ Kay Slay feat. Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Kevin Gates, & Meet Sims - 'Wild One'

  /  07.05.2017

As he gears up for The Big Brother, his first album in seven years, DJ Kay Slay liberates the lead single, “Wild One,” featuring Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Kevin Gates, and Meet Sims.

Produced by Trackateering Music, the banger finds Rozay repping his team, Gates rapping about sticking to the code, and Tity Boi rhyming about his ways with women and the streets.

“I did it for the streets, had my mama in mind,” raps 2 Chainz. “I had sex with a twin, had the other one cryin’ / Our time was divine.”

Speaking of the track, Kay Slay told Complex that it’s a reward for fans who’ve been waiting on his return. “This project is dedicated to the true ear hustlers and fans of the true taste makers in the Hip-Hop culture,” he said. “Where as I am a day one citizen of Hip Hop, I felt that I owed a solid collaboration to the fans who been looking forward to this type of album for years. The Big Brother is here!”

The Big Brother is a star-studded album, filled with a diverse cast of rappers, including Kendrick Lamar, The Game, Mac Miller, Tech N9ne, Jay Rock, French Montana, Nipsey Hussle, Scarface, Ice-T, Dave East, Beanie Sigel, E-40, and many more.

Due Aug. 18, the highly-anticipated LP marks DJ Kay Slay’s return from a lengthy hiatus. His last album, More Than Just a DJ, was released in 2010.
