Video: Bryson Tiller - 'Somethin Tells Me'
Oh snap. Not only did Bryson Tiller drop his sophomore album True to Self a month early, he also debuted the photogenic video for its lead single, “Somethin Tells Me.”
Directed by Elijah Steen, the clip find Pen Affleck playing the role of a photographer at a major model photoshoot. Surrounded by gorgeous women, Tiller snaps away.
The work doesn’t end there. After being on set and on the beach, a bespectacled Tiller hits the darkroom to develop his photos, only to reflect on the beauty around him.
True to Self was originally set to drop June 23, but was pushed up an entire month. “i know we said June 23rd,” tweeted Tiller. “but i say we Set it Off Tonight!!”
The 19-track set marks Tiller’s first album since his 2015 debut Trapsoul, which was certified platinum.
