Video: Faith Evans feat. Snoop Dogg - 'When We Party'

Ain’t no party like a West Coast party.

Celebrating the release of The King & I — her duets project with The Notorious B.I.G. — Faith Evans throws a special bash in the video for her Snoop Dogg collaboration, “When We Party.”

Directed by DJ Pooh, the lively clip begins with Faith calling Tha Doggfather about a party at her pad. “I’m in town,” she says. “I’m having a get-together. I want you to come through. Bring a few of the homies.” Just 20 seconds later, Snoop arrives with plenty of friends in tow, ready to drink and smoke “all night long.”

Longtime Biggie comrade Lil’ Cease appears in the video, while Snoop rhymes along to the new West Coast anthem. Rocking a blue bandana, Moschino earrings, and a grey and blue sweatsuit, Faith celebrates life alongside Snoop. “They keep it funky on the West Coast,” she sings. “I got love for my people on the West Coast.”

The TIDAL-exclusive visual for “When We Party” arrives on the same day as the highly-anticipated King & I project, which Faith spoke with Rap-Up about earlier this year. “Towards the end of the album, I was listening to the [music] and watching how other people were reacting to my creation, our creation, and I just started crying,” she said. “I felt like he tapped me on my shoulder and told me he was proud of me.”

What makes it even more special is the video also arrives on the same day as Snoop Dogg’s newest album, Neva Left, which also dropped today.
