Video: Cardi B feat. Offset - 'Lick'
Cardi B and Offset catch a “Lick” in the video for their collaboration off Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 2.
The Bonnie and Clyde-meets-Ocean’s Eleven-themed clip starts with the rumored couple looking elegant in vintage clothing. Dressed in old Hollywood attire, they stake out the casino, before Cardi changes into all black for the “Lick.”
“Lookin’ like I caught a lick,” raps Cardi, while sporting a ski mask and skintight bodysuit. “Run up on me, you’ll get hit / All my bitches with the shits / Bronx, New York is a bitch.”
After some fun rolling dice with Offset and after her menacing wardrobe change, Cardi walks away with a trash bag full of cash.
Even looking beyond this “Lick,” Cardi has other reasons to jump for joy. The Bronx spitter was recently nominated for Best New Artist and Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the 2017 BET Awards, which she celebrated with a towel-draped video.
