Tapping Wiz Khalifa and Lil Yachty, the Atlanta MC unleashes “Everyday We Lit (Remix),” revamping the PnB Rock-assisted banger that’s currently No. 75 on the Hot 100.
“I swear I ain’t ever expected it to be like this,” raps Lucci. “Now, a ni**a getting rich, I swear everyday, we lit.”
Lil Boat joins the June James production to boast about his promiscuity: “Call me Cousin Skeeter / Fuck her, then delete her.” Then, Mister Cap adds boasts about independence. “I rep Taylor Gang until my death,” he raps. “Fuck a handout, do it for yourself.”
Celebrating the track’s success, Lucci said the combo was the perfect fit. “It’s crazy because ‘Everyday We Lit’ turned into a way of life for the kids,” he told Complex. “That’s why Yachty made sense, even with Wiz, his crowd is lit. This remix is the next level.”
