New Music: B.o.B feat. Young Thug - 'Xantastic'

B.o.B and Young Thug are feeling fantastic, or rather “Xantasic,” on their new Ether collaboration.

The ode to drugs finds Bobby Ray inebriated. “I’m walking sleep, but still awake,” he sings. “I honestly can’t feel my face / She asking me if I’m okay / I shoot a wink and take a drink.”

Meanwhile, Thugger-Thugger finds himself singing about his lifestyle, which is a cross between that of a rockstar and that of a mob boss. “From the nights until the morning,” he sings. “If you’re not rockstar, you’re boring.” Later, he adds: “Cocaine like a mob boss, taller than a ceiling.”

“Xantasic” is a single off B.o.B’s first independent album, Ether, which will feature Usher, Lil Wayne, Big K.R.I.T., T.I., Ty Dolla $ign, and CeeLo Green, when it drops May 12.

Before he unleashes the album, Bobby Ray will head out on “The Elements Tour.” Kicking off June 8 in Jacksonville, the run is set to end July 27 in Myrtle Beach.
