Drake Vacations in the Dominican Republic

Drake is enjoying some down time in the Dominican Republic.

After wrapping his European tour, the 6 God escaped to the $7.85 million oceanfront villa at Casa de Campo, which bills itself as a “unique tropical playground” with various amenities and facilities, including a golf course.

Drizzy stayed at the $10,000/night property while shooting the “No Shopping” music video last year. He returned for some rest and relaxation, or as he put it in a shirtless pic caption: “Peace Seeking.”

But he’s also apparently there for some physical fitness. According to TMZ, Drake spent three hours at the gym on Tuesday evening. Today, the OVO boss rented a boat for a short trip to a local island.

Drizzy appears to be having fun, sharing photos from the tropical getaway on Instagram. One of those shots features a relaxed Draymond Green [of the Golden State Warriors] laying on a bed. The caption reads: “When she asks how much fun you’re having without her…”

Some were quick to point out that this could be a slight at his ex, Jennifer Lopez. That’s because J.Lo stayed at the same resort with her new beau Alex Rodriguez just days before, according to E! News. However, the purpose of the meme is unclear.

Drake is coming off the release of his More Life playlist and the “Boy Meets World Tour” overseas. He is now prepping for the first-ever NBA Awards, which he’s scheduled to host on June 26.
