Killa Cam takes on Vanessa Carlton.

Pulling inspiration from the pop star’s 2002 single “A Thousand Miles,” Cam’ron unleashes “10,000 Miles,” his new single about infidelity and redemption.

Filmed in Los Angeles and directed by Clifton Bell, the music video follows Cam as his girlfriend uncovers his lies, one photo at a time. Torn by the heartache, the Dipset MC is left alone and on a mission to win her back, even if it takes a big diamond ring to make it happen.

“I need to say sorry, I already knew it,” he raps. “But my pride won’t let me do it though / Best girl in the world I might’ve blew it / Like a small condom, I’ll get through it though.”

To go along with the track and video, Cam has also released a “10,000 Miles” T-shirt, which reads: “Cheat On Your Diet, Not Your Girl.” It resembles a shirt Killa wears in the video, which he says was inspired by his girlfriend.

“She actually thought of that phrase,” he says, before he wins her back with ice. “It’s not really mine. She thought of it like three years ago and she was right. You don’t cheat on your girl.”

“10,000 Miles” is the first single off Cam’s forthcoming mixtape, The Program, which is due in May.
