New Music: Young Thug - 'Best Thing of All Time'

Following features with Wiz Khalifa, Belly, and Rick Ross, Young Thug unleashes a solo loosie, “Best Thing of All Time.”

With his trademark style, Jeffery praises his girl for her “best” qualities and offers to change her lifestyle over a trap-infused beat. “You the best thing of all times,” he sings. “You the best thing of all nights / You the best thing in all skies / You the best thing on this flight…I’ma take you off of that regular flight / Put you on a private flight.”

Later, Thugger has an intriguing shoutout to Rick Ross, who recently beefed with his Rich Gang mentor Birdman. “I’ma take a ride with the wheel,” he raps. “I just wanna ride for Renzel / Saved a ni**a life by the bell / 305, check the heat.”

It’s unclear where “Best Thing of All Time” will land. The song follows a slew of Thug’s featured appearances, including Belly’s Zack-assisted “Consuela,” Rozay’s Wale-assisted “Trap Trap Trap,” and his 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, and PnB Rock collab, “Gang Up.” Last month, Thugger also teamed up with Birdman on their Rich Gang collaboration, “Bit Bak.”

The usually-prolific Thugger has not released a full project since last year’s Jeffery.
