Young Thug Accused of Slapping Female Rapper
Law enforcement officials are investigating Young Thug’s role in an altercation that took place Sunday (March 5) at the Palace nightclub in Atlanta.
Police are reportedly looking to speak with the “Bit Bak” rapper after a 27-year-old woman named Valerie Raven said he slapped her during an argument she was having with his fiancé Jerrika Karlae, according to TMZ.
Raven, a rapper who goes by Akbar V, said Thug intervened during her argument with Karlae and slapped her on the left side of her face in front of witnesses. Thug and Karlae left the scene before cops arrived and Raven later filed a report for battery.
Officials say that videos they’ve obtained do not show Thug making contact with Raven. A dark and shaky cell phone-shot clip from the scene features an argument and commotion. “He slapped the shit out of her,” says an onlooker.

Earlier today, Akbar posted a freestyle on Instagram captioned with “#handsupdontslapme.”
Raven and Karlae have an ongoing feud that’s spilled onto social media for months. Back in January, Akbar promised to slap Thug’s fiancé. “Jerrika Karlae,” she said in a video. “I’ma slap fuck out you, girl. That’s on my mama.”
Thug has not responded to the allegations.
