Young Thug Calls Drake 'One of the Realest'

Hitting Instagram on Friday (Feb. 17), Jeffery offered some kind words for Drake, who he is currently on tour with in Europe.

“Thanks for this journey my brada,” he wrote. “u 1 of the realist rappers I know… very GgenuinNe man and brada, I love the way u treat me and respect me and my heart!!! YOU R NUN LIKE THESE OTHER RAPPERS. I mean ALL OF EM…. And for that I’m with u foreva!”

It’s hard to know what prompted the dedication, but Drake and Thug have been hanging out more and more lately. Two weeks ago, they were photographed inside of a studio. Thugger’s cryptic caption for that photo was “My fault ah course.”

Drake’s Thug friendship is surprising given Drizzy’s ties to Lil Wayne, who’s beefed extensively with Jeffery in the past. Nevertheless, the friendship appears to be thriving, even as the 6 God, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne continue their “Big 3” bond.

Drizzy is currently on the “Boy Meets World Tour,” which is set to run through March 16 in Cologne. He’s also planning to drop his More Life playlist on Apple Music at some point this year.

That’s not all. Drake is also set to produce and host the first annual NBA Awards this year. “I get to take the reins on it,” he said. “I love hosting. I love being in a room full of iconic legendary people I look up to and having that pressure to make them laugh and enjoy their evening. Hopefully that will go well.”
