New Music: Jidenna feat. Quavo - 'The Let Out'

  /  02.02.2017

Jidenna just “Let Out” a brand new single to kick off the month of February.

Joined by Migos’ Quavo, the Wondaland rapper delivers a club-ready, trap-infused banger on “The Let Out,” which is slated for his debut album, Long Live the Chief.

“I’m running late, so just meet me at the let out,” he raps. “I’m trying to get in, but I’m trying to get out / Ni**as gettin’ robbed, gettin’ shot at the let out / Heels in her hand while she leaving out the let out.”

Fresh from his “Bad and Boujee” and Culture success with Migos, Quavo adds some of his signature flavor to the slapper. “I ain’t giving these ni**as no points, it’s a shut out,” he brags. “I bet I’ll take your ho right after the let out / I’m the boss, the honcho, walking with my chest out / I got a mill in cash, stash it away at the guest house.”

“Let Out” is likely a single off the “Insecure” actor’s long-awaited album, Long Live the Chief. The project is also expected to feature singles like “Chief Don’t Run,” “Little Bit More,” and “Knickers.” Although he held a listening party for the LP in June of last year, the project still has no release date.
