On the heels of a siren-inspired music video for “Drugs,” August Alsina shares another wonder-filled visual for “Wait” off his forthcoming album Drugs.

“Wait” finds August in an empty room with interpretive dancers swaying about. While he sings about his wishes, the dancers gracefully surround him with pirouettes. Meanwhile, sunlight fills the room with a summery-glare.

As the clip resumes, Alsina is shown at the head of a long table filled with fruit. A snake — possibly the same one that appeared in “Drugs” — slithers across the bountiful tabletop, as snow begins to fall out of nowhere.

“If you gotta leave, girl, I won’t stop you, so do what you gotta do,” sings Alsina while surrounded by snowflakes. “I don’t want you to go, but I got a few things in life that I gotta do.”

“Wait” and “Drugs” are singles off August’s recently-announced third album Drugs, the follow-up to 2015’s This Thing Called Life.
