Looking for a CHANGE? Ella Mai’s got you covered.

Mentored by DJ Mustard and signed to his 10 Summers imprint, the London-bred songstress unveils her soulful 5-track EP, which includes the previously-released single “10,000 Hours.”

The project, which follows February’s TIME, was inspired by ’90s R&B. “I’m a big fan of music from that era,” explains 22-year-old Ella, whose inspirations include Lauryn Hill and Chris Brown. Meanwhile, the lyrics were influenced by “newfound love, new emotions, and new experiences.”

Along those lines, the project is all about how much things can CHANGE in a good relationship.

“It’s about finding someone new,” she adds. “And knowing how to appreciate what he’s giving you in comparison to what you were dealing with.”

Ella is working on a third EP for early 2017, while her debut album will arrive later in the year.
