Video: French Montana feat. Miguel - 'XPlicit'

  /  11.06.2016

French Montana’s MC4 finally arrived last night (only to be later removed from digital retailers). Still, that doesn’t mean fans are left empty-handed.

The Coke Boy has unleashed two new music videos, starting with the sun-soaked “XPlicit” clip, which features Miguel and stunning women frolicking on the beach.

“You ain’t gotta lie to me,” raps Montana. “Shorty keep it real with me / Started from the ground with me / Now she on top of the hills with me.”

The second video for “Have Mercy,” which features Jadakiss, Beanie Sigel, and Styles P, finds French somberly reflecting on his late friend and collaborator Chinx.

“Have mercy on me,” Montana sings on the hook. “Have mercy on me, father / I’ve been robbin’, I’ve been stealing.”

Meanwhile, the visual takes cues from cop shows like “CSI,” while also celebrating life and love in a church.

MC4 was set to be released in August, but was delayed until October when it was finally scrapped altogether. However, last night, the album dropped out of nowhere, only to be pulled once again in less than 24 hours.

In October — after revealing that MC4 would be shelved forever — French announced a new project would land before the new year. “It’s going to be some of the best music you’ve ever heard,” he promised.
