Shortly after checking into rehab over concerns with mental health, Kid Cudi unleashes the music video for “Frequency” off his forthcoming album Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin’.

A Ragin’ 4 Dayz production directed by Scott Mescudi himself, the visual is dark and smoky. It features Cudder dancing in a foggy forrest, where beautiful women appear on every corner. At one point, Cudi’s in bed with two of them.

In the end, the clip turns psychedelic in a land of neon body paint and mushrooms. “Yeah, color outside the lines,” he sings. “Tune on into the frequency.”

Although “Frequency” arrived in March, the official version is off the delayed Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin’ album, which was set to drop last month and has no new release date.

“The album is still on the way. Promise,” he told his fans prior to entering rehab. “I wanted to square away all the business before I got here so I could focus on my recovery.”

Tune on into the “Frequency” below.
