New Music: Lil Uzi Vert - 'Ready Set Go (VLone)'

“Ready Set Go!” Hot off his “Michael Jordan” dedication, Lil Uzi Vert unleashes an anthem about independence.

Over the DP Beatz production, Uzi reflects on cash, women, and religion. “Gotta give credit to God,” he raps. “But I did it on my own / Got a bad chick on my side / And you know she gonna roll.”

Fans might be getting a glimpse at Uzi’s upcoming album, though he doesn’t seem super sure about it. “Might make a album,” he wrote on SoundCloud. “But my music might be tooooo trash :)”

The XXL Freshman hasn’t released his debut album yet, but he’s been quite active. This year alone, he released two mixtapes: Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World and The Perfect Luv Tape.
