Chris Brown Responds to Child Protective Services Investigation

Chris Brown’s woes pile on. Besides not being allowed entry into Japan, Breezy has come under fire from Child Protective Services in light of his assault with a deadly weapon case.

Officials from the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services visited Brown at his L.A. home on Thursday (Sept. 22) in order to check on his two-year-old daughter Royalty, according to TMZ.

Brown reportedly refused to speak with DCFS investigators who were accompanied by officers from the L.A. Police Department. The report claims he wouldn’t allow them past a security gate.

Breezy’s camp believes Royalty’s mother, Nia Guzman, filed a complaint against the singer following the Baylee Curran case in which the former Miss California said she was threatened by Brown with a gun.

Although he wouldn’t speak with investigators, the Royalty singer responded in a since-deleted Instagram video. “I take pride in being a father,” he said. “Great responsibility in being a father. I love my daughter. I make sure she’s healthy. Her education? I pay for it all. Never had an issue with that.

“What I do have an issue with is if there’s one inkling of a problem, somebody uses that as a meal ticket instead of treatment for their daughter,” he continued. “I take care of my daughter fully. Everything else, all these allegations and bullshit, stop lying, bro.”
