Video: Rae Sremmurd - 'Start a Party'

Rae Sremmurd know how to “Start a Party.”

Mix some explosions, flame-throwers, and Hennessy, and you have the Mississippi duo’s latest visual off their sophomore album SremmLife 2.

Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi keep the party going throughout the turnt-up clip, which features beach balls, friends, and scantily-clad women. “Tell a friend,” they chant on the hook. “Tell somebody. We about to start a party!”

Jxmmi shared his party-starter plan with W magazine for the video’s premiere. “You need a higher ratio of women to guys,” he explained. “Alcohol. Balloons. And beer pong. Beer pong is life.”

“Start a Party” adds to SremmLife 2’s already impressive party-themed videos, including “Look Alive” and the Lil Jon-assisted “Set the Roof.”
