Jhené Aiko Files for Divorce from Dot da Genius

Jhené Aiko is calling off her marriage to producer Dot da Genius.

The Souled Out singer has filed for divorce from her husband, listing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. She is also asking that the judge deny Dot spousal support, according to TMZ.

Prior to this, the couple had only been married for 11 months. They kept their marriage private for the most part.

In March, the “Day ‘n’ Nite” producer revealed that the two had been married, which was a surprise to the public, who was unaware of their secret nuptials.

“Happy Birthday to my gorgeous wife,” Dot captioned a since-deleted photo of their wedding ceremony. “Happy to be on this quest w/ you!!!”

In recent months, there had been talk of infidelity as Aiko was romantically linked to her TWENTY88 collaborator Big Sean.

Aiko and Dot have no children together. Jhené has one daughter, Namiko Love, from a previous relationship with Omarion’s brother, singer O’Ryan.
