Tyler, the Creator made his runway debut in front of a star-studded crowd.
The Odd Future frontman unveiled his latest Golf Wang clothing collection and a new shoe company on Saturday (Jun. 11) in Los Angeles at his first fashion show, which was attended by stars including Kanye West, Solange, Kendall Jenner, Janelle Monáe, and Amandla Stenberg.

Tyler wowed the crowd with an elaborate flower-filled set that flipped from a bedroom to a bathroom and a runway that also acted as a skate ramp. His clothes—a colorful array of pants, hats, shirts, and even a bathrobe—were donned by models who weren’t afraid to have a little fun. They rode mini bikes, skated, rolled dice, and played sports on the catwalk, all while striking poses.
The Creator also showed off some fun furniture at the show, including a Coca-Cola can-inspired chair/sofa and an oversized skateboard coffee table.
But what would a Tyler fashion show be without music? During the event, the Los Angeles spitter also stopped to debut a new song, tentatively titled “Ego.” Later, he would call it a “throwaway just made for that night.”
During the evening, Tyler also announced a new shoe company: Golf Le Fleur. “I did collabs with Vans…but I realized black people don’t really own shit,” he explained. “So I said ‘Fuck royalty checks. I’ma start my own shit. If it fails, it fails.’ So I decided to start my own shoe company and shit and see what the fuck happens.”
After this announcement, Yeezy approached the stage for a brief moment to deliver a message. Eventually, a fan read the letter Mr. West delivered aloud, announcing that everyone in attendance would receive a free Le Fleur shoe by the end of the year. “You get a shoe,” Tyler announced, mocking Oprah. “You get a shoe!”
Although the line is still being worked on, the rapper previewed his new kicks at the show and on Twitter.
A grateful Tyler offered a speech at the end of the show, letting fans know how much their support means to him.
“Thank you guys for coming,” he said. “I really appreciate y’all coming, man. I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but I feel so under-appreciated with a lot of shit that I do. To know that there’s people out there like y’all that actually give the smallest fuck is so awesome.”
