New Music: The Game - 'Gang Signs'

  /  06.09.2016

The Game is reflecting on “Gang Signs.”

In anticipation of his upcoming A&E documentary Streets of Compton, Chuck Taylor unleashes “Gang Signs,” a track warning listeners about the dangers of colors in Hub City.

“When them gang signs go up,” he raps on the hook. “You see your light flash right before your eyes / And you know what? / That’s how it is on the Westside / When them gang signs go up / So many of my ni**as died / Better watch what you throw up.”

Prior to dropping “Gang Signs,” the Compton MC also unleashed “Bad Boy on Death Row,” a collaboration with Dave East and the Problem and Boogie-assisted “Roped Off,” another Streets of Compton single.
