Bruno Mars and Skrillex Team Up for 'Next Level' Collaboration
Bruno Mars and Skrillex are taking their music to the “next level.” That’s according to the Jack Ü producer, who opened up about the collaboration in his latest Billboard interview.
“I’m actually working with Bruno Mars right now,” he said. “I’m not going to give specifics of what it sounds like, but what we’re doing is so fucking different, awesome and next level and sounds like nothing else that’s happened before.”
It’s unclear what these two are working on, but it could very well be Bruno’s next album. The singer is reportedly plotting a November project and he’s apparently “on a mission” to make music he’s “genuinely proud of.”
I'm on a mission. I'm Obsessed to make an album I'm genuinely proud of. Stick with me Hooligans. I'll get there. Love Brunz

Brunz has also been in the lab with Missy Elliott, who praised the new material as “#INCREDIBLE.”
If the Skrillex collab does land on the project, it will be Mars’ follow-up to 2012’s Unorthodox Jukebox, which featured a bevy of hits, including “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Treasure,” and “Gorilla.”
