Sqvad! Lil Wayne might still be embroiled in a battle with Cash Money, but that isn’t stopping the rapper from unleashing a new mobile skateboarding app, “Lil Wayne: Sqvad Up.”
The app will include a soundtrack curated by Lil Wayne, featuring production by Nesby Phips. It’s said to feature an arcade style trip through Weezy’s hometown of New Orleans.
“I’m super excited to drop my first mobile skateboarding game ‘Lil Wayne: Sqvad Up’ as a way to share my passion for skateboarding,” said Weezy. “It’s also special to celebrate all that makes my home of Hollygrove and New Orleans such a dope place.”

“I started skateboarding at 29, not just because I thought it looked cool, but also because I wanted to be able to inspire kids to get outside and play,” he added. “Skating is a perfect way for kids today to stay out of trouble and be positive and active.”
“Sqvad Up” is slated to drop June 10 through Apple and Google Play stores. Lil Wayne will also be on hand to present the game at Samsung’s booth at E3 in Los Angeles this month.
