Hooligans, get ready! Bruno Mars is coming back.
The Grammy-winning singer is reportedly planning to release a new album before 2017 arrives. Atlantic Records insiders tell HITS Daily Double that Mars is indeed “recording an album for November release.”
Bruno’s new work has been bubbling for some time. In January, he told fans that he was “on a mission” to “make an album I’m genuinely proud of.”
In April, Missy Elliott said she heard some tracks off the new album and was impressed. “We laughed & laughed the whole night then he played me some 🔥ass songs 4 his album,” she tweeted. “Whewwww😅 #INCREDIBLE!”
The album will follow 2012’s Unorthodox Jukebox, which spawned the hit singles “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Treasure,” and “Young Girls.” The project debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart upon its release.
