Beyoncé Cancels Nashville Concert
Tennessee will have to wait to get in “Formation.” Just days after kicking off her tour in Miami on Wednesday, Beyoncé has canceled her upcoming Nashville concert.
The show, scheduled for May 5 at Nissan Stadium, will be rescheduled to a later date.
“Details about the rescheduled date will be announced shortly,” Beyoncé’s rep told E! News. “Nashville tickets holders are advised to retain their tickets which will be honored at the rescheduled event.”
While no official explanation was given for the cancelation, an unofficial Twitter account for the tour said the move was “due to stadium construction.”

Furthermore, TMZ reports that Nissan Stadium has “been undergoing some major renovations, including new seats.”
Other “Formation World Tour” dates have not been impacted by this change. In fact, Queen Bey stopped in Tampa on Friday (Apr. 29) for the second date on the run and will head to Atlanta on Sunday.
UPDATE: Despite reports of construction, Nissan Stadium has tweeted that the venue “was ready and able to host the May 5 Beyoncé show.”
