New Music: Boosie Badazz - 'Family Rules'
Boosie Badazz is all about family on his latest single, “Family Rules.” After taking listeners through a “Private Room,” the Louisiana rapper takes us into his home with a track about his brand of family values.
“Thanksgiving dinner,” he raps. “Shit, that’s what we love about / Taking family pictures, fucking right we want our cousin out.”
Throughout the cut, the Thug Talk spitter stresses the importance of prayer, forgiveness, and not being abusive. “I know that’s your girl,” he says on the chorus. “But just don’t hit her.”
Speaking of family, Boosie is planning his first annual “Sittin’ Pretty Mother’s Day Celebration” at his home this year. “RSVP only,” he said on Instagram. “It’s gonna be big. We’ve got a lot of celebrity moms that’s gonna be guest speakers.”
