Listen to the World Premiere of Drake's 'VIEWS' on OVOSOUND Radio
VIEWS is here. To celebrate its arrival, Drake is world premiering the highly-anticipated album during a special edition of OVOSOUND Radio on Beats 1.
The 20-track project, previously titled Views from the 6, features appearances from Rihanna, Future, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Pimp C, dvsn, and Popcaan. Also included are “Pop Style,” a collaboration with Kanye West and Jay Z, as well as the the WizKid and Kyla-assisted “One Dance,” which is currently No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In addition to playing tracks off the album for the first time, Drake is expected to give a rare interview to Beats 1 host Zane Lowe during the broadcast.
“By the standard I hold myself and 40 to, [If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late is] a bit broken,” Drizzy told The FADER last year. “There’s corners cut, in the sense of fluidity and song transition, and just things that we spend weeks and months on that make our albums what they are.
“It was the set up to be able to return to working solely with 40, which is where I’m at now,” he added. “I just wanted to be able to come back to that and have it be important.”
